I once again hosted our annual Christmas cookie bake exchange again this year. If you haven’t been part of one before, I definitely encourage you to consider it. It’s a fun way to get together with friends over the holidays but even better – it’s an awesome way to get all your Christmas baking done in one easy and manageable afternoon!
This year I wanted to break away from my ‘usual’ contribution – Brandied Eggnog Cookies. I poured over all my cookbooks for days and came across these beauties!
These are my version of Martha Stewart’s Sarah Bernhardt Cookies. The mousse and the chocolate coating is simply amazing! (Seriously – I could eat just that part off a spoon.) I tried the base but it wasn’t working for me so my modification was to make a sugar cookie base (any basic sugar cookie recipe will do). They got RAVE reviews.
Check out all the contributions from this year’s exchange!
