Just under the wire, I’ve got one more finish for 2016!
This is a quilt top I did up over the summer but for some reason it sat there in my sewing room just waiting for me to pull together batting and backing.
I have three weeks off over Christmas and New Years and I’m excited to get through some of my WIPs (works-in-progress). Finishing this off was a lovely way to end off a year of many, many fun projects.
I’m a stickler for stitching-in-the-ditch. I think it really makes a dress design stand out regardless of whether you follow it with more straight line quilting or free motion quilting.
I can’t get enough of the colours in this quilt. I picked all the fabrics individually and I’m proud of how far along I’m come this year with moving beyond quilt kits and designing my own colour schemes and doing my own fabric pulls.
