We had our first winter snow storm over the weekend!
The weather had taking a bit of a drop in the last week so I had started to get out the winter gear in preparation. It made me realize that much of Elliana’s winter clothes from last year need to be replenished in a bigger size. A new winter toque is a must in these parts and after some searching on raverly, I found the perfect little knit project from Susie Gourlay, who I happen to know IRL! The Bankhead is a great pattern that can be sized for baby, toddler, child and adult.
I found some Plucky Trusty (worsted) in my stash and knit this little project up in just a few hours last knit.
I even made the little faux fur bauble on top! (I’ll share that in another tutorial later this week.
Elliana was keen to try it on this morning.
Doesn’t everyone wear a toque while brushing their teeth?
Do you have snow yet in your parts? What is your current knitting and/or sewing project that you have on the go?
